How do I know my child is safe in CP Kids?

We prioritize safety in CP kids. All persons entering the environments are either serving as a volunteer or dropping off/picking up children. In addition to this, all Serve Team Members are background and reference checked before they serve. You will see each Serve Team Member wears a CP Kids tag to identify they have been cleared to serve. Each of our classrooms has room ratios to ensure the safety of the specific ages.

What age does my child need to be to attend CP Kids?

CP Kids is broken up into two age ranges: Nursery (6 weeks to Preschool) and Elementary (K to 4th grade).

What can I expect when I arrive for the first time?

Accepted Answer

When arriving to CP Kids, you will register your family at the Check-in desk, where Serve Team members can assist you. You will receive two name tags, one for your child to wear and one for pick-up after service. It is important you keep your child’s pick-up receipt, as that is a security measure we take to ensure all pick-ups are safe! A Serve Team member will then show you to your child’s classroom, where they will be checked into that particular classroom.

What will my child do in CP Kids?

In our preschool and elementary rooms, your child will dive deep into Bible stories through a variety of large group lessons, games, discussions with leaders and prayer time. We believe in the next generation and our greatest joy is to grow and go together!

What does CP Kids offer for my child with special needs?

Accepted Answer

Our Sensory Room is a safe and nurturing space designed especially for children who benefit from a calmer environment during church. Caring Serve Team Members provide individualized attention, engaging activities, and sensory-friendly supports to help each child feel comfortable and valued. Parents can drop off their children knowing they are in good hands, and enjoy the worship service with peace of mind. The Sensory Room is available during regular service times for children who may need extra support.
